This presentation highlights considerations and supports for autistic
students transitioning to adulthood. We will discuss rising autism
prevalence, barriers to postsecondary education and training, challenges in
healthcare transitions from pediatric to adult providers, and the high rates
of comorbidities, including the diagnostic challenges they present, and their
impact on daily life. Attendees will gain insights into strengths-based,
tailored interventions to improve outcomes during these critical transitions.
