The political arena and news media are flooded with tons of political rhetoric about issues but issues are rarely every truly engaged. Dr. Keith Gaddie discusses how this Political Science 1113 will use the National Issues Forum template to teach students how to move past the rhetoric to engage issues and others in a substantive and civil manner.
