This presentation focuses on Activity Theory (Engeström, 1987), and conceptualizes teaching and learning as a systemic, socially mediated activity in which humans and technologies interact dynamically. The AI teacher, human teacher, and student are viewed as three distinct yet interconnected activity systems, each with its own object, tools, community, rules, and division of labor (Airaj, 2024). The focus is on how these systems interact, mediate, and transform each other to produce new forms of learning and teaching practices.
